Allan, thanks for the detailed tutorial.. I forgot about that original post.
I guess when you get down to adding and element you select custom under the basic tab and then you can select your moulding profiles.

Have you ever considered putting all your very helpful tutorials in one place like a PDF "Extras" manual?

I would be willing to pay for this if you did.

Thanks again
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Once you have created your own profile, or adjusted an existing one, it will just be in the list to select when you 'convert to members'. You do not have to go to the Custom type each time.  The Custom type is just another way to create a new profile, in the same way as going into the Catalogue Manager Library.

I had not thought of a PDF version of the 'tutorials', but I did plan to make them available and my own 3DS files etc on my website when I upgrade it shortly (when I can make the time).  I have not touched the existing site for many years. The FloorPlan 3D examples on it are from version 4 - that tells you how old it is!! I plan to replace the whole site and include a TFP section. I have had that in mind for a while, so don't hold your breath although I have retired recently, so it may happen now!!  Maybe I could do the PDF also. I have also played with some movie ones too but getting them to a small size is the problem - especially for the Forum. I will see what I can do, now that I have more time.
