Hello!

I have just updated TFP using "TurboFLOORPLAN-3D-Home-Landscape-PRO-PATCH-624-662". When I open a project created in previous version, the program halts and stops responding whenever I try to edit interial walls. This was something that was fixed in patch 637, which I assume is included in the upgrade I just performed. When I try to use only the "637"-patch the installation fails.
Has anybody a clue what to do here? Am I doing something wrong?

Kind regards

Hi, Welcome to the Forum.

You do not specifically say so but I assume you had V12, updated at some stage to V14 and have now applied the patch 624-662.

The original patch 637 did fix an issue affecting walls from V12 as you said.  Had you applied that 637 patch previously?  If you had, then you should have used the patch 637-662.  If you had not applied 637 then you should have done, as you did, appliy 624-662 as it does 637 and 662.

This thread may be useful here: http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1039.0.html

If you still have an issue with a V12 project, could it be that there is a currupt wall in that project anyway?  Presumably you still have V12.  Will it open the problem file or does it crash too?  If it will open it, try File / Repair Project. If there is a corrupt element (usually a bad wall intersection) then hopefully this will fix it and you may then be able to convert it to V14.  If V14 will open it, then try the Repair function there.

It may also be worth trying it with Hardware Acceleration off (Settings/Program Settings/ Graphics) as some PC configurations do not like it. Making sure the video driver on the PC is up to date too may help if the 'corrupt wall' is not the problem.

If you still have no sucess, post the V12 file here so we can try it - someone may find the issue or at least get it converted for you.

Let us know how you get on.
