Delete Helios?
« on: March 10, 2010, 02:44:39 pm »

Anybody-----

Can the files located in the folder "Files/Temporary/Helios" be deleted?

What are "Helios"?

Hi Otto,

I am only guessing on this one but I think the files are the result of a crash during a render process. Helios is the rendering engine used in TFP and the files seem to be some photoboards, textures and .ent (entity) files, ones I think implicated in the crash.

Since the crash has already happenend I don't thin there would be any issue in deleteing them but maybe Pat or others more 'technical' than me can confirm that for us.

Allan-----

Every evening, if I'm working on a project, I back up my TFP "Files" folder to a flash thumb drive.  The misery of lost work is too horrible to contemplate.  My "Temporary/Helios" had become quite large.  It's gone now!  (And I'm glad to know what Helios is)

Thanks for the info,
Otto
