any news on new version release and upgrade
« on: April 02, 2010, 04:35:02 pm »
Since Envisioneer has a new release, one would expect TFP new ver. release coming soon. Anyone have any insight as to when it may be released?

And the expected price?  and an upgrade price?

I'd be looking for an email to all previous purchasers when release happens and prices announced....makes it much easier to click 'n buy than searching for something.

Hi Doug,

Like you I suspect it will be soon in view of the recent new version of Envisioneer.  It received quite a lot of enhancements in the Worksheets area but not a great deal elsewhere ,so there may not be many dramatic changes. Probably the most exciting feature in Env6 for me, is the replication of the camera views as a dropdown selector in the rendering area, so you can render to all your camera angles from the one radioisty render - very quick. This will be ideal for me as I need to render the same model from the same angle but with different colour schemes, so I can change the colours, do the radioisty once and then raytrace for each camera. Change the colours and do it again all with exactly the same camera angles.

The question is of course - will it flow through to TFP?  I suspect it will since it is a visualisation function, rather than a 'construction plans' function.  Env 6 also allows you to edit multiple elemnets in the catalogue all at once - eg change ALL the window frames in the catalogue to your colours - a bit time saver. Time will tell whether we get these features of course! (and when)!

Looks like April 30th will be the new version as the price of TFP 14 is being reduced in the UK on that date.

Its £69.99 today http://www.avanquest.com/UK/software/turbofloorplan-3d-home-%26-landscape-pro-122157?tr1=AQ_UK_PP_GO_TBF&gclid=CMPN5fW7kqECFQc9lAodpCd2OQ but will be £48.99 on Apr 30th.  http://www.amazon.co.uk/TurboFloorplan-Home-Landscape-Pro-Version/dp/B003BEEFLM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1271669917&sr=8-3-spell

It was March sometime but was changed.

Hi Robert

The price reduction will be for V14 when V15 will be released!  You can then in the UK bùy the previous release at a reduced price.

Avanquest never discount current releases only previous ones....
