Hi Robert,

Looks good!

There have been some improvements to the rendering in TFP V15 and some of them are not in Envisioneer6 yet either.
The two comparisons below illustrate.

TFP V15 now has an option to force the interior walls to be Exterior, which means you can change the format of the interior walls so that they render as if they were exterior format in sunlight. Instead of rendering black as in Envisioneer, they render correctly. What this it means that if you have an overhead view, with the sun going inside, it will render correctly instead of black (as TFP14 and Env 6 does).  However.....

Yes - the However is that it is not all there yet!  As you can see the free standing wall still renders black even if you set it to make both sides exterior.  This is easily fixable however, by enclosing the whole terrain by a Room Divider - it then thinks that everything is Interior so the free standing wall renders correctly also.   It is still messy in V15 though, as you have to tick the two boxes to make the interior walls Exterior, then change the texture back to the interior finish you wanted in the first place.

When you have the camera inside the difference between Env 6 and TFP 15 is again obvious, but TFP 15 is still not right. The light on the floor is not the direct sunlight through the open top - it should be even across the whole room, as it is in the overhead view. Freestanding outside walls are still a problem too, unless you enclose the whole terrain as mentioned before.

These situations only are an issue when you have an enclosed room with no ceiling or roof - where the sunlight falls on the interior surfaces. Artificial lighting will illuminate these areas properly, as will light through windows whether there is a roof or not.

I suspect what will happen is that these modifications will be incormporated into an Env 6 patch and hopefully these other complications will be addressed at the same time and then TFP will get a patch including these modifications also. We will just have to wait and see.  In the meantime, for these overhead views, it is an improvement.

Robert, that's a cute little cabin, good first-time render!  I've got TFP H & LP 15 too, just purchased it today after my trial ended and I love it!
