Hi Mike,

Thanks for sharing that.
Did you find a way to use it in TFP, other than as a 2D drawing? - or did you intend to post a 3D DXF or 3DS version?

It is already a 3d object Alan.  I'll look into the file to make sure it's not corrupt.

Not happy with the file, try this instead

Hi Mike,

That's better - I like it!!  I like things that are a bit different and this is - thanks for sharing it!

The DWG file is probably OK but I think TFP only import DWG in 2D format.  It was not available in previous versions and I think is basically for adding technical specifications to the plan.  We gradually get what Envisioneer had previously so we may get 3d DWG eventually.

EDIT:  I did a quick render to see how it would look (used your textures - I assume they imported ocrrectly) and thought I would post it so others can see what it looks like and may like to download it also.  I do cabinet making myself and find it interesting to create it first in TFP to see exactly how it will look. Shame you can make the real ones as quickly as you can make the virtual ones!  I find it helps too in working out the best way to put it together and even how to cut out the various pieces to make the most out of a sheet of wood etc.

No problem Alan, you and others have done lots for folk over the years and I just thought I'd add a contribution.

I often experiment when I am boed but do not have time for one of my larger projects.  Sometimes they work and others not so much.
