I have drawn a plan including a parking lot which I labeled with Text. Now I cannot select the text without removing/moving the item (i.e. the parking lot/driveway) first. Its like the text drops under the item instead of remaining on top or on the same level. Text on items outside of buildings, (e.g. parking lot, ramps, patio) cannot be selected without removing item first while text inside buildings can be selected. What's wrong? Is there a work around? Thanks!

Hi, Welcome to the forum!

Driveways and other elements on the terrain are all part of the 3D model, text is not. Text sits on a separte 2D only layer and in the View Filter is on the Notation Tab.

To save moving elements to move or edit the text, you can simply make them Non-selectable but clicking the 'filter' icon in the Selection column on the 'Elements on Terrain' tab for each element that covers your text (eg Paths).  If you need to edit the paths etc later you will have to uncheck this again.
