Not sure and don't care what mechanism/implementation to have a catalog search ability...either built-in as one looks to insert, or "paint" a material etc. or whether as a separate function....but would be oh so nice to be able to search on key word(s) and in specific/all parts of a catalog to find stuff...
now we spend lots of mouse clicks in categories/folder/etc looking to find things to use...and not always knowing if it even exists.
Even if there was a separate data base search tool...we could at least then know the path to search within the app. For example how many people would even think to find gutters and downspouts in the insert "interior", plumbing, exterior, folder area?
Of if we imported an item and accidentally it got placed somewhere....and we don't know if its there or not or where to look.
s/w "Search" is always handy when the area to look-in is large and cumbersome to search manually.
