Imperial / Metric confusion in Project Estimate/Cut List
« on: November 06, 2007, 08:15:17 am »
I have noticed a problem in the Project Estimate / Cut List.  While the sizes of the studs for example are in Metric the cut lengths are in Ft and inches.  I am familiar with both but my rulers are all metric!

Also changing the Settings /Unit of measure to Imperial makes no difference to it.

G'day Allan!
If you're using the latest version based on Cadsoft Envisioneer you need to check the Report Template you're using. If not, I'm sorry I can't help.

All the reports are the same - dimensions are in metric but cut lengths in Imperial.

Hi Allan
I have try to look at the template but I have not mange to change the default, maybe our friend Jake can change the template so can we how use metric can get the metric cutlist to. It look like if you have the Envisioneer you can Chang the template. Do You think we can send a humble request to Jake to do that then put the template on the forum.

Do you have an option to edit a template?
If you do, you should find a dialogue entitled "Specify Report Template"
Change the Imperial options to metric, save the template & you're away!
