Hi Sofia,
Thanks for the opportunity to help. Don't know if this is the sort of thing you are looking for, but some of it may be useful.
What I like about TurboFloorPlan, is the simplicity and speed with which you can create a 3D model of almost any building, decorate it, furnish it, walk through it and produce photorealistic images that show you exactly how it will look.
You can model anything, from a garden shed to a city skyscraper. Simply click and drag to draw the walls, choose doors and windows and drop them into the walls. Choose a ceiling - one click inserts it, choose a roof and one click inserts that too, the floor is automatic and you are finished - what could be easier?
If you are designing a new home for yourself, it is easy to move walls around and 'walk through' it to see how it looks. You can choose various items of furniture, click them into place, move them around, rotate them etc to see if your furniture will fit into your proposed new home. You can even alter the furniture to match your own and cover it with your own fabric. You can also experiment with different colours and textures on everthing - using your own photos of building materials and fabrics to get the exact look that you want. It costs nothing to change the colours on a 3D model to see how it looks, but costs a fortune if you experiment on a real house! TurboFloorPlan helps you decide the layout and decor before you build or decorate!
Does your garden need a makeover? TurboFloorPlan will do that too, with 7,500 plants to choose from and a vast array of garden features and landscape items to choose from. You can even use a photo of your own home and create a new garden in front of it to see how it looks, then move the time on a few years and see what happens when the plants and trees grow up!
How do I use TurboFloorPlan? Apart from sometimes producing buildings just for fun (or to answer questions on the TFP forum), I create models of proposed churches and Assembly Halls, producing photorealistic images to show the decor in several different colours and styles. The local building committee then decide which one to use. TurboFloorPlan makes their decision easy, as they can see exactly how it will look.
I hope some of that helps.
Allan
