would prefer easier way to "orient" object with data input
« on: November 14, 2007, 05:03:09 pm »
Sometimes we need to re-orient an object  (properties, basic, orientation)

Wonderful to have the ability in x,y,z

But, way too many mouse clicks at 1 degree per click to rotate something 90 degrees

How about click 'n hold down to let the counter "spin" and/or click in box to enter data directly....like is done in so many other dialog boxes?

Please make the GUI work easier for us here

Type-in or "spin" would definately be an improvement!

You can enter the exact rotion, if you highlight the object then right click then click on rotate (rotate1.jpg) chose the center of rotation, then click on the object (rotate2.jpg),  now you can enter you how much you will rotate, (rotate3.jpg). Instead of typ-in you can spin the object. You have to chose the object 2 times.
