Program Crashing
« on: September 27, 2007, 08:52:49 pm »
I have an outdoor covered patio I'm drawing.  It has a roof and a concrete floor.  When I try to add a 4" stucco wall that is 4' high (for a bar) it crashes the program as soon as I drag it on to the patio.  I can drag it right next to the patio, but as soon as it crosses the threshold, the program crashes.

Running on Vista for what its worth.

Any ideas on how I can get a simple wall with a granite slab counter onto the patio?

First I would try turning off Hardware Acceleration to see it that affects it. Mine crashes if I click the Radiosity button if HA is on. The option is under the menu item Settings/Program Settings/Graphics. In the previous version you had to restart it for it to take effect - not sure about this one.  HA was on ongoing problem with previous version of FP and looks like it will be here with this one too. It is really a PC issue not the program - With the laterst drives etc it is not usually a problem.
