Have you got Hardware Acceleration turned off?  If not try it with it off.  Settings/Program Settings/Graphics. Are you following the method mentioned in this quote from above?

Just set 3 edges of the ceiling to 90 Degrees and it will slope whether there is a roof or not.

I don't know of any patches to date but would expect one soon (I hope).

If not already done so, try the same with hardware acceleration "off" (unchecked) as HA has caused lots of odd issues on various PCs.  For example it is always "on" in my laptop but desktop is on OK for drawing but must be "off" for renders.
