'Classic' FloorPlan forums down ??
« on: March 30, 2008, 04:47:49 am »
Hi, has anyone else had problems accessing the old IMSI 'Classic' FP forums ??

Site was working up to a few days ago, but now seems to have vanished...

Hi Nik,

Yes, appears to be down at the moment.

I doubt anything will be done until Monday US time.

Hi Steve, Nik,

Yes, as of 8:45am CT the classics are still down. However I have also noticed that all support for Classic versions before v10 (including my favorite v8.2) are no longer available at:

http://www.imsidesign.com/Support/FloorPlanSupport/FloorPlanUpdates/tabid/494/Default.aspx

any thoughts?

Re: 'Classic' FloorPlan forums - now back up

Hi,

Doug - it was giving an ftp login - which is probably why your username/password did not work.

However it is now back up - and I have already answered a question!

Note to IMSI - the links to the Support Page and v11.2 Update have still not been corrected - in fact now the Homeplans and kitchens link doesn't work either.
And if you go to the Updates page - (via the TurboFloorPlan site, which is the only way at present) - why have the v8 and previous patches been removed? - people are still using v8 - I've just answered a question on it!

Looks like it was up for a short while, Steve even answered some posts, but as of 4-3-08 around 9:00pm CT US, it is down again. Always enjoy the hints and tips there.

I actually wanted to post there that CadCourse is now selling the "Mastering TurboCAD FloorPlan v8.2 Adv B" for $9.95

http://www.cadcourse.biz/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=117

Fantastic price for anyone wanting to learn Classic Floorplan. This is the version for the Book + CD. Although written for v8.2 all examples help quite well through v11.2.

IMSI moving and updating Website
« Reply #9 on: June 27, 2008, 05:28:56 am »
Hi,

I found the Old FloorPlan Website was down again.

Checking the TurboFloorPlan Website I saw this message:

MOVING "On June 27, 2008 IMSI/Design will be moving into a new facility and upgrading its website and servers."

So if you find this site unavailable later today you now know the reason.

Maybe we can be optimistic and hope that with new website and servers will come some new support also (or is that too optimistic?).
