Adding Items to catalog
« on: February 29, 2008, 07:43:58 am »
Hi there,

Is it possible in version 11.1 of 3D floor plan to add items to the various catalogues?

I would like to add a water heater/ hot water tank in Plumbing and a different style of kitchen sink.

Hi,

This Forum is actually for v12 (Turbo FloorPlan) only - this is based on new code, so the method to add items to the catalogue (this is v12 name, v11 is database) will not be the same.

The Forum for all previous Versions including v11 is at FloorPlan User Forums - but unfortunately IMSI still have not updated the Links.

But to give you a starter - if you haven't done so already - you need to find a 3ds object of the water heater/sink you require.

(p.s. your feature request re roofs may of course be possible with v12)

As explained, this forum is for TFP12 not FP11,

however, Yes you can add items to FP11....import .3ds via the catalog list:  choose a catalog topic, right click and add new, find file on your hard drive, set scale....then find the item and insert like any other item and set materials.
