Getting Vertical Lines When trying to Render in 3D Real View
« on: October 03, 2007, 03:29:08 pm »
I just installed the FLOORPLAN yesterday and so far I like everything except when I try to render the 3D Real View. I checked to make sure my graphic driver is up to date but still no luck. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks

Hardware Acceleration ?

Haven't got program yet, so guessing...

Based on other comments, I'd suggest you start by turning OFF TFP's hardware acceleration during rendering.

IIRC, Jack Zimmer's 'Rule of Thumb' is "ON while editing, OFF for Renders", at least until the will/won't OpenGL issues are resolved.

FWIW, I've had to turn FP's 'HA' OFF *and* PC's 'HA' down a notch or two since ~ v6. I've built / up-graded my CAD PCs specifically to support FP's OpenGL rather than gaming's Direct-X, but none of it seemed to help...
