When I try to insert stairs in an automatic floor, I stall when the "hole" I've defined fails to "select", therefore I can't delete it to cut the hole. Any help??
Thanks

Look in Help under 'Openings' / Inserting in Floors / Automatic and Removing from Floors / Automatic
short answer is to go to 3D view , select Room Division floor area / hit Delete.

Thanks Jack. Worked just like it should. A note to the effect might be added to the instructions to make it clear that the moves are made in 3D. The 2D inference is there when it says: "Go into 3D view and make sure that the floor is visible in the view".
