2 MONITORS (one for 2D view & other for 3D view)??
« on: October 08, 2008, 08:21:38 pm »
Hello there .....wondering if anyone uses two monitors (dual monitors) to have a 2d view on one and a 3d view or other on the second one????????

I tried to use my laptop monitor and an external monitor at the same time......and even though  i can move the hole TFP window to the external monitor...i can't move the open views( 3d,elevation,etc.) out of the TFP screen.

Any suggestions????

thanks for the advice.

I use a laptop and large widescreen LCD and just  stretch TFP itself across both screens - then you can drag the second window and palets onto the second screen.

I use dual monitors on my desktop but not my laptop.

On desktop I have design window (I use window manager and use a 2d tab and a 3D tab....but quite sure you can have several windows open at same time) on left monitor and all  palettes on right monitor.

I use this approach for all graphics programs...2D or 3D
