TFP Bug - Ctrl-Y keyboard shortcut doesn't work
« on: November 09, 2008, 08:04:16 pm »
Perhaps this bug has already been reported, but if so my search-fu wasn't good enough to find it.

The help menu lists "Ctrl-Y" as a keyboard shortcut for "Redo".  This does not work.  Selecting "Redo" from the Edit menu works, as does typing "Alt-E" followed by "Alt-R"

The Ctrl-Z function for "Undo" does work as described.

Perhaps this has been fixed in a later update - I am using the free trial version download which may not be the latest version.

Hi Doug.

I have just tried the Ctrl Y on both versions (I have a copy on a PC without the update applied), and in all the tests I did it worked Ok.  May be it was only on the specific thing you were working on that it does not like, although I would not have thought it would work on some things and not others.  I did my quick tests just on walls. Out of curiosity, try it on walls and see if it works there.

By the way, in the absence of a specific 'bugs reporting' section, we have usually been reporting them under the 'Feature Requests' section in the hope they would be seen there and receive attention.  Hopefully some of the feature requests will be seen too!
