pier and beam construction

What's the best approach for a pier and beam house? I've only toyed with TFP as of yet, but if somebody knows the best way to get there, I'd appreciate any pointers.
Thanks in advance,

You will have to put them together with parts from the program.
Post can be found in the Column options.
Under Interiors / Interior Accessories / Decorative option has columns/ trusses and a beam you can customize.
You will have to put these items together and then use array copy to generate a framed structural post and beam model.
