"try" the trial program before you decide about TFP
« on: October 08, 2007, 02:59:26 pm »
Jack Z said it somewhere in this forum (don't just read the forum, give TFP a trial try) and I decided to give it a go and glad I did.

TFP seems solid and does the job better in many ways vs. FP11 or earlier....there are many new features.

Learning curve from FP11 or earlier is pretty easy....in a few hours and only a few looks to the help file, I could generate a simple design and render outputs.

A few things to learn and where to look to find familiar tools but they are setup logically and easy to understand.

And Jack is correct...very few bugs....and none are show stoppers.

So I'll be ordering my paid version very soon after only 2 days of trial use.

If you are totally new to 3D and TFP than it may be more daunting...but users here are helpful....and I'm happy to see we have the IMSI people looking here too.....lets hope they stay with us and provide info when needed and a place to hear our concerns and ideas.
