BMO import filter ??
« on: October 09, 2007, 05:04:15 am »
Hi, could some thought be given to a BMO import filter for TFP ??

This would allow favourite objects to be transferred complete with sizes and textures from legacy FP plans.

Okay, they would lose their 'live' properties, but would avoid the round-about route of exporting from FP mini-plan as DXF, extraction in TC, re-saving as 3DS, importing to TFP, re-scaling and re-texturing etc etc...

A bold alternative might be to accept that BMO is now a 'legacy' format, and offer documention to eg Zoltan Karpati for inclusion in his ubiquitous 3DOC...

Third the motion and raise your three black chips by a half pound of black pudding.  Actually, could you substitute potato wedges for the black chips?  I've just had a root canal and rock hard chips might just be off the menu..........

OK, I'll get my coat.

I agree being able to import .bmo files would be great......

Or if TFP12 could read/import objects directly from the FP11 .mdb file of objects
