What I  would also like to see in a future release, is a warning that your second save will overwrite the first render but  more significant, (and more work no doubt) to be able to save the 3D radiosity view.

I don't know if you tried that, but if, after rendering, you select Radiosity instead of Modify Viewpoint you can easily navigate the 3D radiosity view. Although it does not show reflections, the shadows, colours etc are pretty good and ideal for a client to play with if they had a standalone viewer to do with it.

You will recall we could do that back in V4 when the rendering engine was Lightscape.
