Room for the freezers

This room is sound damper to the freezers, in a canteen.
The mesh in the roof is 2 diffren typ made in layout and then converted to members. 1 big 400x400 members 25x30 rect. solid 1 smal 40x40 members 10x10

Hi Robert,

Interesting 'ceiling' and it rendered beautifully - very effective with the lights above. I wouldn't like to keep it free of spider webs though!!

Converting layout items to members works well doesn't it? Using the layout tools and cutting out shapes in a piece of floor or one of the new Surfaces, means you can create almost anything.

Yes layout tool works very well with members, the only bad is that you only can use rectangel and line then you convert to members.

Thats true but at least it is better than what we had before.  You can of course convert a curve to walls or something like that and just change the texture to wood or steel to get a similar effect (for some things). Converting Lines to Members is very effective for adding roof guttering - see the post under Tips and Tricks http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,867.0.html
