Title: Playing animation files
Post by: cwmwlyrallt on October 07, 2015, 02:22:36 AM
Has anyone else come across my problem? I am having trouble playing a TFP ver 16 animation file (avi) in either Windows Media Player (Win 10) or VLC player. The opening frame shows but then the video flicks off as though it had run through at super fast speed. The animation preview in TFP looked fine.

I want to be able to use the animation full screen on a fair sized screen to convey concepts of a project to a non-IT-familiar group.

Replying to my own query. Found that video file did only contain opening frame. Have rerun preview and re-recorded and all is well. The fault was with the impatient user not the software! Hadn't followed the maxim 'When all else fails read the instructions'.
