Trim texture rotation on vertical edges

Would it be possible to adjust the window and door trim so that the texture can be rotated on the vertical sections? As the image shows it currently has a nice mitred corner but really is useless as the texture does not rotate with the frame. This means are limited to just a flat colour (which doesn't really need the mitre anyway).

I agree it is sorely needed....

may be best done automatically....but even a fall back workaround to do it manually would be OK and would allow for more control.

Um, this is same reason I 'rolled my own' doorways for FP.

TurboCAD let me sub-divide the 3DS shape to take correctly aligned 'grained' textures.

Alternative is full UVunwrap-style texture mapping, but that might need OBJ and mtl support...
