Gable roof

When I built the roof it gave all hip roofs as expected. To change one wall to a gable roof I thought I could highlight the wall and change the roof drop down menu to gable and it would change but it didn't. Must be doing something wrong.

Hi there,

I am not sure if I understand your question. Can you provide more information and a screenshot showing the problem?
Also, please, inform the program name and version number of your program.

You are in the section V17 - 2017, therefore users of versions 17, 2015, 2016 and 2017 post here.
By program name, I mean Pro or Deluxe, etc.
You can see how to find the information in the image attached.
The reason of my request is because different programs include or not different features. In order to provide an accurate answer, I need the exact information.

Can you provide the specific name of your program?  Of course, if you prefer not to disclose the information, you can contact technical assistance.

Good grief. If it takes this long to answer a simple question it's not worth the money I spent. I could have built the house by now.

Well, you didn't provide the complete information, so I can't provide an answer.

Good luck with your project!  ;)
