How do I import a jpg file of the property and use it as the background of the drawing in 3D mode?

Hi Mark,

Go to Setting / Progam Settings / Background and click the image (or Select button). In the list of photos in the catalogue, right click and select Add Material In the popup dialog select Use Texture, browse to your photo and it will import it.  The image itself must have a lot of foreground so that the horizon is in about the middle of the image. If the image you want to use does not have a central horizon then make it bigger and add space at the bottom so the horizon is in about the middle. It will be underneath the Terrain so it does not really matter much what it is.

Bear in mind that the model will always have this same background regardless of which way you look at the house.

Also look at TFP background files to get a good idea of image size/quality/brightness/contrast...and make yours similar or slightly better..or as you desire depending on your final rendered image size and desired quality.

Best to also consider matching sun direction in background shadows to the rendered image...or it may look odd/unrealistic.
