Title: Where is the Training??????
Post by: tkarlmann on October 15, 2007, 10:20:49 PM
 ???

For those who do not know, Jack Zimmer has prepared training videos for TurboFloorplan v12.  For some reson (??) IMSI cannot seem to get these out!  They have been completed, now something is dragging in making them available to users.

These are extra-cost items, but I, for one NEED THEM NOW.

Does anyone have any further info?

Thom

I can take an order through the AEC CAD PRO website.

http://products.ironhorsemedia.com/CategoryDisplay.cfm?cat=1061&cid=6&CFID=1725569&CFTOKEN=36547396

Two sets of videos, one covering the Architectural aspects and the other covering the Landscaping / Deck aspects.

A free 'Cheat Sheet' covering commonly used commands and tips will be included with each purchase from AEC CAD PRO.

Hi Jeff,

We cannot reduce the price but I will include a printable 'Cheat Sheet' so you have a quick guide to common commands and tips.  Purchase from AEC CAD PRO to get the Cheat Sheet via email.

if you want simple, first time user, getting started help, look here:

http://www.cadsoft.com/trainingvids/help_videos.html

...many videos, each short for specific topics...select on left (scroll up/down) then click on "play" button at bottom of window ("pause/play" movie player controls)

They are for Envisioneer but for the most part (except print paper drawing documents/blueprints) the info applies to TFP12 too since Envisioneer is the "father" (or "mother" if you prefer) of TFP.

Based on earlier works by Jack Zimmer, I'm sure Jack's are more about how to put it all together and are more in-depth.

Hi Robban., Doug,

Thanks for the kind words, I certainly hope the videos help out. I don't get much feedback, so I appreciate when I know that the effort to make them is helping out to some extent.

thanks,

Now onto the Working Drawings vids :-)
