Okay, just downloaded and am trying out the new TURBO Floor Plan3D. I have drawn up an office space...only 960 sq ft. I have spent 3+ hours drawing this only to find out that the drawing only shows up as a 2x3" diagram on an 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I cant find a way to have it "fill" the page!!! Also, it seems as there is no way to save this drawing as a jpeg or similar for ease of use in sharing or emailing to someone. I need to have input an approval on this project before construction begins and I can't print it to size OR share it with anyone!! At this point I am frustrated that these 2 basic functions are this difficult to use/fix. Not sure I will buying this product.... Can anyone help PLEASE!!!!!

You can use export drawing as a 2 d image this is format bmp, jpg and tga you can export 2D drawing dxf format.
If you see a green frame around your drawing it look like you have the terrain on, go to View Filter turn of the terrain, and you get the drawing only.
You can also go to view manger, (Tab) Printer Properties, if you click on question mark in left down corner you get a great help.

Thanks so much for the reply!!! I turned off the "terrain" and that fixed the sizing issue. I have to figure out how to change the color of the lines as they are red right now and hard to see. The export function as a jpeg worked but again is hard to see the lines on the pic and the actual image is small when viewed. I changed it to 1028x764 and wasn't much help. When you mag the picture everything distorts....
overall, that was such a simple fix...i wish that it was more clear (programming wise) for the new user....

Hi,
To export a JPG it is essential to zoom into your plan so that it fills the screen. The JPG will be exactly what is on your screen so if you include the terrain or a lot of surrounding blank space, that will be on the JPG also. Use the 'Zoom Window' tool on the toolbar to draw a window around what you want to see on your image.
Probably the easiest way to print what you want, is to use the print Window option in the print dialog box.
The image below will illustrate it. It enables you to pick the exact area you want to print, whether it includes the terrain or not. I think it defaults to All (Extents), so will include the terrain, but if you select Window, then click the Window button that appears, it will take you do the plan so that you can select exactly what you want to print - eg just the office perimeters. When on the plan click top left, then click bottom right (don't click and drag) and it will draw a box between your two clicks. It will then return you to your print dialog with the mini view showing the part that will be printed.
Using this Window you can print any portion of your plan and it will fill the page.
Line colours can be set in the model if you want. (see image) Choose the walls (for example) and in the Properties dialog box you can select the 2D parts on the Appearance tab and change the line colour for each part of the wall. That will only change it for that model, you must change it in the Catalogue itself if you want the change to apply to future models. If you change it in the catalogue it will not change it in the model for walls already inserted. You can right click them though and select Replace and replace the wall with the same one but which now has the new 2D colours.
For printing you could of course just set the printer to print in black and white only.

Thanks Allan your tip, it's not often I print on the print I usually convert to pdf the I can add some more text if I will, I use Acrobat Pro 7 to do it a great program but expensive, one thing I like is the measuring option.
Your example is more exact than only turn of the terrain.
I most have got a blackout then I didn't remember how to change the colors on the line. ;D

I hardly ever print either, the plans are just the means to create the 3D model for rendering.
Having said that I have done a little printing lately of a set of simple cabinet drawings for a cabinet maker but I used the DXF export/import method I described earlier ( http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,877.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,877.0.html) ). That way I was able to combine an image polans and elevations on the one page. Works quite well and you can still add any text you want. All the measurements tools still work too, so you can automatically add any extra measurements, including vertical and angled ones.
Have added a couple of JPG examples.
