Title: Site Boundary Property Line
Post by: adg on January 27, 2010, 11:47:45 AM
Does anyone else have problems putting survey coordinates in? I've got good propertly line coordinates that close, but when I enter them in turbocad, the bearing directions are whacky. The program changes my bearings. Sometimes if I keep re-entering them, it will eventually take them, but I have the same problem with the next coordinate. I'm aware of the "adjust peg" box, but its as if the North direction changes with each entry. Anybody else experiencing this?

My TFPlan is not starting for me right now, but check under Program Settings / Site Boundries and see it you have an Angle Bearing option. With forward and back bearing you get better angle numbers. The other way you must subtract / add degrees based on N/South and 0/90/180/270/360.

What I do is import a jpg of the site plan and scale it. Then through a process rotate one angle to match with site angle. Then layout full site using Angle Bearing options.
