Title: Door across 2 locations (basement and mainfloor)
Post by: hal9000 on March 07, 2010, 08:46:13 AM
Hi,

I'm trying to insert a door across the basement and the mainfloor.  Typically, I want to the the same as in this previous post:
http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,214.0.html

I inserted an opening in the basement then elevated it across the 2 locations.  But I can't figure how to do the same with the door: it doesn't let me put it in the opening.

See attached .bld and jpg files.

Thanks!

Hi hal9000, you only insert the door in the Foundation (basment) then elevate to groundfloor (first floor), you will not use opening to that, a opening work as a door without a door.

You have to set your building location right
Fundation floorlevel -4', ground floorlevel 4' and second floor 14' if you have the standar settings. This will elevate your building 4' over the original groundlevel, with other words you have a hige foundation. Now you only have set in a staircase and set in a second floor in same level ther you have the door level.

Hi Roban,

Indeed, that's what I did after my previous post and it worked :)

Thanks.
