I have had TurboCad, DesignCad and TFP for about 10 years and never received anything about new versions. Version 14 was out for about 2 months before I found out about it. I don't expect to see anything about an upgrade, so where and how do I get an upgrade price.

Hi R Gathje

Feel free to email me and I will make sure that your info is sent to the correct people. IMSI should have your email address in thier files, but it is obvious that it has either changed or been lost. I'd be happy to see what I can do to get you back on track with them.

An active email is required. It wouldn't hurt to have your name and products purchase (versions) too.

send to:

[email protected]

You can also :

call 1-800-833-8082
(+1.415.483.8000 outside the United States. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm Pacific Time)

explain your situation and ask you be put on thier mailing list.

YOU CAN NOW DEFINE ASPECTS OF A ROOM (TYPE OF FLR/BASE/CEILING/WALLS).
THEN SET UP WHAT YOU WANT ROOM SCHEDULES TO DISPLAY

AND GET A COMPREHENSIVE ROOM SCHEDULE FOR ALL ROOMS YOU HAVE ASSIGNED INFORMATION TO.

COOL

Hi Jack,

Re the Door, Window, Room Schedules:
As you can see by my image, there is no horizontal scroll bar as there is on yours. This means there is no way to set the width of the Notes column which is very wide.  I did see a scroll bar once when I went in there but every other time it is not there.

I do not get a scroll bar on the Window Schedule either but do get it on the Room Region. EDIT: It has disappeared from Room Region schedule too.

Have you experienced this at all?

Allan

Hi Allan,

Yep, all in the TurboFloorplan training videos  :)

It is a bit lenghty to explain but try this.

Highlight last entry in Schedule Setup dialog box (open Schedule> upper right hit Setup> then look on top list for last entry> highlight it)(For Windows/ Doors it is Description / For Room it is Area)
Go down to 'Insert' button and hit it.
A new 'Blank' option will appear above just 'before' the Notes option.
Now hit Remove

option 2 quicker

CLICK Setup > Insert > Remove

You will now have scroll.

Hi Jack,

I prefer option 2 - much quicker!

I fail to see the logic but it works. Personally I do not have a need for the schedules as I only do the 3D visualisations but I like to know what's there just in case.

A week or so ago I had a play with them but did not hit on the trigger to get the scroll bar to appear.

Thanks,

Allan

Hi Cossie Nisse, welcome to the Forum!

According with http://imsidesign.com/Default.aspx?TabId=659-->  TurboFlOORPLAN is a 32-bit application. If you are running TurboFLOORPLAN on a 64-bit system, it will run in 32-bit mode.

Good luck

Pat

Hi,
Glad to know that V15 is released. I tried  to download  V15 . But the size and date of the file seems to be that of V14,
ie  562308.45 kb and  14-04-2009. Am I at the wrong link?, or shall I continue downloading. Can someone help me in this regard.

This is a new product release, not a free upgrade. If you want to 'test it out' , they have a free 15 day trial. You have to send info to IMSI and they will send you the link.

Hi Jack,

To check this out I followed the link to the trial and when you get the email, the link goes to a file dated over a year ago. I have tried to contact them to check it out but being on the wrong side of the world does not help getting a good time to call.

I thought I would try downloading the trail to compare it with my V15 and make sure it was the latest but the slow broadband I have said it would take 20 hours!  Maybe you could phone and get them to check.

OK, I'll check it out Monday.

File size is close to correct and download speeds have not been good lately, so expect a long download. I have had some over 1.5 hrs even with high speed download on my end.

Thanks Jack,

I was forgetting about the days too. I registered that the time was an issue to get your "office hours" but had also forgotton that it was still Sunday there - no wonder there was no responce!  Late Monday afternoon here!  Being retired now doesn't help either - weekends blur into the rest of the week!

Hi Allan,

Like any good business, you release the product and then clean up the loose ends :-) IMSI D has yet to update the download link but will do so asap. A product release always seems to be a lengthy process ending with a flurry. Then filling orders and questions and complaints and helping with installs all while making sure the other P's and Q's are minded to.
