Title: Catalog window
Post by: turkeywire on June 09, 2010, 04:59:32 PM
I downloaded TFP from digital river and used it for a while then downloaded the patch to 662.  When I installed the patch the preview pane in the catalog window disappeared is there any way to get it back?

Hey turkeywire. Go to settings and look if Info Panel is marked if not mark it, and if it marked unmarked  close the program then then open the program again an mark Info Panel again that shall reset the Info Panel =(Catalog viewer)

Thanks Robert.  I tried that.  I get the catalog window, but before I put in the patch when I clicked on an element a preview would appear in the bottom portion of the window, now all that is there now is an imsi logo.

Hi, I must admit I have never seen an IMSI log in that window before.

Before you mentioned the logo, it sounded to me like a display issue - meaning you probably need to upgrade your computer's video driver and it would probably fix it. In the meantime try turning off Hardware Acceleration (Settings/ Programme Settings/ Graphics). If it appears then, it would indicate a driver update is required. Movement could be slow or jerky with HA off. You could also try reducing the acceleration slightly on the driver itself rather than turning HA off in the program.

One of my computers (old one) also loses this preview if I have HA on, although I do not get a logo - just white!  I should upgrade the driver too but don't use it much, so don't get around to doing so.

Just to let everyone know I reinstalled TFP and everything is OK now.
Thanks for your help.
