I bought V14 on Frys.com, I downloaded V15 from vendor. I did some design in demo V15 and saved project. I then tried to open the V15 project with V14 software that I bought from Frys .... yes V14 cannot open a project created with V15. Is there a way to output a generic V15 project that V14 can read?

Unfortunately as Robert said and as with most software, older versions will not open newer files.
The only thing I can think of that you can do, is generate a plan from V15 to trace in V14.
In V15, go to File / Export and choose 2D Image. Choose JPG. This will save a JPG file of the plan.
Open V14 and do a File / Import / Project Trace Image. During the import you will get the opportunity to size the image. If you have previously cropped the image right to the widest point of the walls then use this distance for the image width. Otherwise, once imorted, select the image, right click and choose Resize. Click two points on the image that are a known distance apart (eg the full width of the plan between two outer walls) and enter this figure. The image will now be to scale and you can trace the plan with your selected wall.
If you cannot see the walls as you are tracing set the walls to Solid Fill (see this post for how to do that:http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1267.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1267.0.html).)
