With Google SketchUp, I made a stone fireplace. Came out okay.
After getting it into the catalog, I inserted it into one of the rooms in one of my projects, just to
see how it'd look.
After that, I decided to delete it from the project. I didn't need it in this projuect. Just wanted
to se it rendered in a setting.
After it was deleted, I noticed the axes arrows (used by SketchUp) still remaining. I tried to delete
it, but no good. It's not much of a nusance, as far as the 2D plan view goes. In the 3D view, it doesn't
show up at all. One thing I did notice. As I pan out the view (in 2D view) , the axes arrows get larger.
But, as I zoom in, the axes arrows grow smaller.
Could I be something with the .skp file itself ?

Hi garystan!
I think one of the Selection for the objects in View Filter is turned off and there is some old stuff left like a invisible wall, to make it sure shall we do a quick check. But it can also be that you are in the wrong location then you try to delete the element.
Go to [View Filter] select [Notation tab] click on Display Non go there after to [Elements on the Terrain tab] and do the same.
This will narrow the problem to [Elements on Location tab]
Now go back to the project, if the arrow is gone the problem is in [Notation tab] or [Elements on the Terrain tab], if not
go back to [View Filter] select [Elements on Location tab] Click on [Select All] this makes all building elements on all locations selectable.
Go back to project delete the arrows, if this will not work the is a problem in the catalog.
How to fix the catalog that will take after you try this above.

Problem solved.........................
Apparently, maybe...........by the .skp file............the coordinate icon got turned on.
It's a setting under WORKSPACE.
