when i create a wall, i cant make a 45 degrees angel or any angel. it vil only work in 90 degrees og straight lines. What am i doing wrong.
i have tried looking in settings, if it lockes to a grid, but i cant find the problem.

Catches a few people out this one but very easily fixed!
At the botton right of the screen is the Status bar - it has several ON/OFF options one of which is ORTHO. This makes walls or similar construction elements only draw at right angles. It should be on to ensure that walls are square but off, obviously, to do angled walls. Click it or use F8 to turn it on or off. Another related option is Angle Snap (F6) - this will make the wall snap to a specific angle. For example, if you set the Snap Angle (Settings / Programme Settings / Drawing Aids) to 45 degrees, then you can easily draw 90 degree walls and any angled wall would be 45 degrees and it will snap to that angle. You can set the angle to whatever you want but don't set it too small or if will be hard to make right-angled walls. With ANGLE SNAP turned on you can oftern leave ORTRHO off.
An unrelated option on the Status Bar that is useful is COLLISION (F9). This prevents you putting things where they should not be. For example, with this ON you will not be able to put furniture half way through a wall - they will bounce of it. At times you may want to (eg a cabinet in a wall opening between two rooms). The Status Bar on/off options are controlled also by the F3 to F9 keys.
You may find it helpfull also to read through all the various options in Settings / Programme Settings. It is usefull to know what can be changed if things do not work in the way you expect or you would prefer. While there check the Nudge Distance on the Drawing Aids tab. This is the distance an object, or wall, will move when you press the directional arrow keys on your keyboard. The default is 1" (or 25mm) but you can set it down to 1mm if you want and so position things very exactly.
