No dimensions show on the 2D view. The dimension lines are all there, but no numbers! Also when I went to add interior wall the wall line showed no dimension, so I could not tell how long the wall is. Anybody know why the dimensions do not show? I cannot draw anymore until the wall dimensions will show. Help! Thank you.

Can you ad the bld-file so shall I look at it, I think your settings is wrong for the text, it also depend what scale you use.

Do you mean the changing dimensions as you draw the wall or all the fixed dimensions on the final drawing (or both)?
I get the impression that you mean the is no adjusting dimension as you draw the wall. If this is the case it sounds a bit like a video display issue on your PC. For a quick check go to Settings / Programme Settings / Graphics and set the Hardware Acceleration to OFF (untick the box). If it works with that off then, you may need to upgrade the video drivers on your PC or there could be other PC issues. Turning Hardware Acceleration off is just a quick check, you can also reduce the acceleration slightly on the video driver too which may fix it. I am no expert on that side of things but I know Pat will be able to help if that is what the problem is.
If you are talking about all the fixed dimensions on the final drawing, then follow Robert's suggestion.

Perhaps, it would be a good idea if you post a screenshot of the plan, showing the problem (not the real file, but a screenshot)--> in this way we can check if the issue is a wrong setting or a system error

I just went to the program settings,it looks like everything is set right. Measurement units are set in feet and inches and all else looks set right.

At the botton left of the box where you type the reply you will see the Additinal Options text - click that and you can add all manner of attachements.

Did you check the Dimensions settings? (Settings/ Dimension Settings). You need to click through several boxes to see the settings for the text size and colour. The default settings should be correct. The text size by the way, is the height it will print on the paper.
The image below will show you where the text settings are, but, unless you have altered these already, the default settings should be correct.
Sounds more bit like it may be a display issue, in which case Pat's suggestions should help.

The dimensions appear to be there although very small (hard to tell on the image but there is something at the centre of each dimension line. What happens when you zoom in on part of it?
Also what happens when you print? The dimensions should appear bigger, as they will print the size shown in the dialog box. What size does it say on yours?
Maybe post the BLD file also.

It looks like a setting / font problem as Allan described, not a vc problem
If the font size in the program settings doesn't solve the problem, check the display settings --> the DPI setting should be 96 DPI
For Win XP--> go to Advanced --> Display--> DPI settings --> Normal --> 96 dpi
For Win 7 --> Right Click on your desktop --> Personalize --> display --> Change Display settings--> Advanced

Hello, I printed out the project and I get exactly the same image as the screen shot I posted. No dimensions.I checked the font and display things suggested and everything looks correct. What is the BLD file you want me to post? I did a file search and the BLD file for TurboFloor looks like an application file. Where would I find the BLD file you would like to look at? the file you are working. Save as --> deryl, for example--> the program will save it as deryl. bld--> post it here at the forum

If you right click on you drawing without select anything, you get a menu, click on View Properties look at the scale what did it say, default is 1:48 this will get you correct size of the text. Then you print the text size depends on both scale and Print Area
If not get correct text onscreen, you have set your screen resolution to high, like DraftCad say, normal is 96 dpi.

Thank you guys for your help. The scale was off like Robert said in his last post. I bumped it up to 1:75 and I can read all dimensions well. I do not know how that scale got changed but it was at 1:12. Thanks a lot for all your help and posts to solve my problem. Very much appreciated!!
