Hi
I would like to draw a house plan with heavy lines rather the the thin lines that currently show. Any suggestions?
All you need to do is turn on Line Weights - you will find it in Settings / Programme Settings / Workspace and tick the box under Lineweights.
This will turn on the line weights on screen, as specified for each element in your model. If the results are not to your liking, you can adjust the line style in the Properties of each element. (Appearance Tab - Select the 2D item on the right and select the line style at the bottom). If you want to print these line weights you will find a check box on the Print dialog - I think that still works even if you do not have them turned on the screen. Personally I find it messy with heavy lines.
Also available is Solid Fillling. This will fill in the walls to a solid colour. This must be enabled in two places - on the wall itself (Appearance tab, select 2D Core and tick Solid Fill - double click the line to change its colour) and then it has to be turned on globallly in Setting / Programme Settings / Workspace / Building Aids and tick the Enable Solid Filling. Both must be ticked for this to work. If you are using a Veneer wall you can choose to solid fill the 2D Core, 2D Exterior Surface and/or Airscape by selecting each and ticking the Solid Fill box.
Hope that helps,
Allan
Thanks Allan
I will try this over the weekend
