How do I get the floorplan to print all lines in black and the same lineweight?
Some printers, especially B&W lasers, have a print setting to convert all colors to B&W
Otherwise you may have to set all the line weights and colors in 2D setting to same weight and black.
Before you do that, what is the problem you are having? What kind of printer are you using?

Line weights: Go to Settings --> Program Settings --> Workspace--> Lineworks --> uncheck the "Show Line Weights" option
Printer: in addition to the options above, you can print to PDF --> most PDF converters have the monochromatic option
You can also export your plan to DXF --> open it with a free cad program --> set the layers as monochromatic --> print

I am printing to a Kyocera Taskalpha 500 (I guess a typical office laser - does black and white and colour).
If I select black and white only on the printer setting some items, particularly cabinets still print in grey.
I will try the pdf print option now.
Won't it be very tedious to select all of the objects and change their line weights and colours to black.
I would like more control over the linewights however.

I tried the pdf print option on two different printers - still the same issue of some things printing in grey (stairs, cabinets appliances etc).
Printing with lineweights is better than not but I still need to be able to control this a little better.

When I print in 'greyscale' with lines weights on or off, it is all pretty much all black, with a few appliances lines a lttile thinner so seem every so slightly lighter when line weights are off. They are preset to different colours to make them easier to identify in the plan.
As you say it will be a bit tedious to change the colours of the objects but it sounds like this may be the only way you will get what you want. You would only need to change the 2D line on the Appearance tab of the objects that are too pale for you, so it should not be too bad. If you have several of the same object, then you can change them all at once by using the 'Select All Similar" option. You can also Edit the elements in the Catalogue and then use the Replace option for the objects to pick up the ones you have changed in the catalogue. Either way there will be a bit of time involved, but obviously if you change the catalogue entries, then they will be OK for future occasions.
The only other option, as Pat suggested, is to export the plan as a 2D DXF file. Everything will then be true black and white. If you do not have a program that will open DXF (many do - even some of the photo editing programs), then you can import the file back into a new TFP project and print it from there exactly as you are doing now but it will be just black and white.

I'm just getting into this new program. Can't seem to find how to make the lines darker when they print.
Have also lost the numbers on my dimension line but don't know how I did it or how to correct it.

Re getting darker lines: Did you tick the box on the Print dailog box "Print Line Weights" (Bottom left corner)? Did that help?
Re Dimensions not printing: Did you try Robert's suggestion in this post: http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1328.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1328.0.html). Basically it was to right click on your drawing without select anything - you get a menu. Click on View Properties and check that the scale is the default 1:48. This will get you the correct size of the text. That solved the probems for that user. There were some other suggestions in the same post that may help if that one doesn't.
