I am designing a house using SIP's(Structurally Insulated Panels) these are all 1200 wide and was wondering the best way for the join between 2 panels to be displayed in the plan view. Can I design a Sip wall in the catolog or does anyone know of one. This would then allow for doors and windows to be positioned to minimise the cutting of panels.

If you want it to show in the plan view then chat is not straight forward. With TFP you cannot control the framing spacing, otherwise you could have used that. I could create a wall in Envisioneer, with a framing member at 1200 intervals to represent the panels. This could be imported into TFP and should work. You would however not be able to adjust the position of the 'frame' member relative to the corners for example. Let me know if you want me to try that.
Another option would be to use a the Custom Member (Interior Accessories / Decorative) and place it at the intervals so it appeared correct in the plan (use Offset or Array to place equidistantly), or you could use the Layout toolbar to simply draw them onto the plan itself (2D only).

I have a trial version of envioneer at them moment so i will have a go with that and see how it works.

Hi Brett,
The trial version of Envisioneer will not help as you cannot export anything. All exporting if BIM file, saving, printing etc is disabled so, while you will be able to create the wall, you will not be able to use it.
