Hello. I am tryoing to figure out how to adjust my foundation for a single story structure that I created on a flat grade using the house builder wizard. After creating the strucute with a single floor, I used the terrain tool to create a 30 degree slope that runs the length of the structure. Now there is a big gap between the sloped terrain and the bottom of the floor under the structure. Not sure what the procedure is to rectify the foundation. thanks.
Hard to suggest without an image of what you have.... but I'm guessing that what you wanted was an exposed basement walkout.
When you add a slope the arrow associated with it is the start and stop points of the slope. It would seem the best solution would be to shorten the length of the slope arrow so the drop of the terrain stops before the terrrian falls below the foundation.
You would then have to add another footing to comply with your local code under that exposed section.
Some things you can do is to 'break' a wall and create stepped footings on the bottom.
You can add the footings by pick point instead of automatically with the house builder.
You can add footings by wall.
If you can attach a jpg screen shot of your situation it sure would help.

or it could be as simple,
if the problem is the height of the terrain relative to the house,
to adjust the "zero" level of the terrain....right click terrain, adjust "elevate"

As Jack said we really need an image to be able to give a proper answer. 30 degrees is a pretty steep slope, so obviously you need to add a foundation or footings to fill the gap. If you are just creating a 3D model to 'walk through' and not trying to create technically accurate plans, then maybe all you need to do is select the existing exterior walls (shift click to select all at one time) then right click and choose 'Duplicate to Locations' and select Foundation. This will copy all the walls to the existing Foundation location and this may just fill the gap for you.
Alternatively, if the ground floor is supposed to be partially below ground, then as Doug said you can move the Terrain up (although I don't think you can right click it to elevate it). To elevate the Terrain you need to go to Settings/ Programme Settings / Terrain and adjust the 'Base Level' setting. This will shift the Terrain up or down in relation to the building.
If we are still missing the point, post an screen image so we can see the situation.

Probably the simplest solution is just to go to the Terrain tools and use the Pad tool. Just draw the Pad to the size of the floor area, (not the deck obviously) and un-tick the box in Properties that makes it 'Hug the Terrain'. The Pad will then fill in the area from the floor to the Terrain and you can change the texture to whatever you want it to be.

Hi deldergod! Her is an example what you can do, something in the like what Jack suggesting. Then I look at your image it look like you have set the groundleve to cut the terrain, if set the foundation to cut the terrain it will look better .

It would appear to me that you have a slab foundation (i.e. no basement walls) or the basement level is hidden. Check to see if you have a basement level....if not, add one....it does not need to be full 8' height, can be any height you want as well as texture such as concrete block or poured concrete.
