Title: Unable to change the properties Cabinets
Post by: salim on April 06, 2011, 01:10:40 AM
Hello!

Version TFP - 15. At 14, this problem did not exist.

Menu: Interiors - Catalog - Cabinets - Single Door Base Cabinets.

I'll bet the base. Choose properties. Then select the "Counter Top".

Default width - 1800 mm. Change the width (For example 800mm). Select Depth. Dimension of 800 is accepted. Picture-in properties changed.

Click OK. Size remained the same 1800mm.

Try using Surfaces. The link shows you how.

You will have to use something else for a backsplash though, members are not available in TFPlan.

Hi Salim,

Another option is to use a piece of floor (by Picking Points) and eleveate to the height of the counter.  See this post for details:http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1297.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1297.0.html).

As Jack said Members are not available in TFP as a direct option but you can create them using a Line from the Layout toolbar, right click it and Select Convert to Members.  All the different types of Members are then available. The image below shows how to do it.

I see that Robert,

I never thought of checking the convert to members option that Allan has posted. It sure doesn't make sense to have to add members that way. Why 'hide' such a useful tool. It should have it's own icon and own catalog 'pick and insert' option rather than the long form by line workaround.

It would be nice to get that changed in the next version.

thanks Allan / Robert for setting me straight.
