Shouldn't there be a forum category dedicated to documenting TFP bugs?

I agree and would hope a place to report bugs would be hosted either here or in a bug database so we'd all know the workarounds (see the .pdf files on IMSIdesign site)

And a common place lets us know if our "problem" is a bug or user error or user system issue etc.
