My house is a raised ranch, with the (full) basement only partially below ground. The actual exterior walls are 10" poured concrete about 3' high, with a 6" vinyl-sided stud wall right on top of that (the concrete protrudes into the basement area, siding is about an inch past the concrete on the outside).
I can't seem to figure out how to construct this accurately. I've tried setting a 3' high foundation wall, then dropping an elevated vinyl-sided wall on top of it, but that doesn't work - it seems to merge the walls and I just wind up with a tall concrete wall.
Any ideas?
If you make your fist level a 3' then duplicate the walls (or trace them) to the second level, make sure the walls on the second level are 5'. Then you want to go to locations and drop that second level down to meet the first. You probably will want to play around with the "drop exterior face" and "trim" options. You can also change the terrain base level (Program settings) if you need to adjust how much of the house is exposed.

I hope this will give you some help.
1: I change this parametre in Building Locations
Number Name a - Floor Level b - Head Height c - Ceiling d - Wall Height
Height
1 Foundation -3' 6'-8" 10' 7'
2 Ground Floor 8' 6'-8" 8' 8'
3 Second Floor 18' 6'-8" 8' 8'
5 vinyl-sided stud 4' 6'-8" 3' 3'
Delete the floor on the vinyl-sided stud you can also delete all trims for that walls to and set wall height to 3' level
The Ceiling can you ad either to the foundation or vinyl-sided stud but not on both.
The inner walls on foundation floor have you to change the wall height to 10' level.
You have to change the numbers for you project I'm not use to calculate whit imperial measurement I use metric measurement so I used even numbers.

Thanks, Robban & jjocsak, I hadn't thought of adding an additional level to the locations for the upper half of the wall. I'll give that a try!
