Title: We could really use a table of inserted objects like FP11
Post by: Doug.S on November 11, 2007, 07:50:43 PM
I may have missed something but I cannot find a chart or table or list of all items inserted into the drawing and where located etc. in TFP

Especially useful to find something "lost" or hidden or to check for duplicates etc.

That was available in FP on a tab and it was full of useful info as well as ability to change things

The materials usages/cost report is useless for that purpose....tho valuable for its own reasons.

Did I miss it? If not, I suggest a future version provide that capability....should be fairly easy just to make a list since it must exist already and it has all the item features to generate the 3D images.

Would not have to be always active, to save cycles and memory, but available as a tool to use to make the report and view it and use it to "select" the object in the scene to then do something with it.

Thanks

i think this is desirable too. I have had great difficulty sometimes selecting something, especially very small items!
