First, I love this program, and intend to continue using it, but for several reasons, I am considering buying a "Mac mini" for use in making my drawings. I can install it on my boat (my home) with a 37" HDTV as the monitor, which will help me and my failing eyesight, as well as providing us with the new TV we need.
They tell me at the Apple Store that I can install a "windows for Apple" type program to run TFP. Does anybody know if this is a satisfactory solution?
Will TFP be available for the Mac in the future?
Thanks,
Dave
D'uh, would be *so* ironic if Mac's emulation let you run TFP with the full hardware acceleration that eludes us PC users !!!
FWIW, my middle-aged eyes are increasingly glad of the twin 19-inch wide flatties before me...
Dave,
I seem to recall a post somewhere saying that someone was doing this. Try using the Search and you may pick it up.
Allan
No luck with the search, and I'd sure miss being able to use TFP because of incompatibility. As far as I've been able to discern, the programs that allow you to run Windows programs on a Mac are subject to the same security issues that have been driving me away from my PC (with the possible exception of "Crossover", but it doesn't support TFP!!!)
Soooooo.... any help?
Andf you IMSI guys are watching, have you got any suggestions?
Thanks
Dave
You migjt also try writing to cadsoft.com who is the Envisioneer parent to TFP...and they have a website forum for that product where you could search for Mac info....see other part of this forum (search for cadsoft) for a URL link
