Hi I download the Envisioner master metric catalog (ENV7 Master Catalog Metric.bdb) in open in TFP 16 working great. Her is image from the screen wall
Are there many things new/different from TFP16? and worth the disk space?
If so, where did you get it and is the imperial.db also available?
Hi Doug,
I have been using Envisioneer for a couple of years and I can't say I have noticed much different at all in the things you would use every day. I must admit I had not noticed the Screen Wall that Robert has demonstrated but I have not had a need for it so have not looked. That probably applies to a lot of other things too!
There are many more different Members in Envisioneer but they are not used a great deal anyway. There is also an Australian Catalogue (available from Cadsoft.com.au), that has a vast number of specifically Australian customised objects, but that has been specifically tailored and comes at an added cost. It has hundreds of extra Australian plants, for example, and locally manufactured products.
I don't know where Robert got his copy of the catalogue, but you could always download the trial version of Envisioneer and get both metric and Imperial catalogues that way. Whether it is worth it depends on what different things you do - for the way I use both programs the differences for everyday use are negligible.
Allan
Hi Doug and Allan
I download it from Envisioneer Reference Materials, the imperial catalog didn't work in my computer.
