hi
is any way to import a project file from floor plan 3d v11 to turbo floorplan 3d v16
is so please help
Sorry but from V12 a totally new system was used to allow for future development of the functionality and the two systems are not compatible. The only thing you can do is export the plan as a DXF file (from memory I think that was possible in V11). You can then import the DXF file and use it to trace the original plan.

Allan is correct.
But if you want to "copy" a specific unusual item, or group of items, that might not be available in newer versions (tho I think most everything available in earlier versions is still in the new catalogs),
you can export and then import into newer version, but you may lose some features/capabilities for that object (see other reply for other thread, today, of similar idea).
For certain things such as textures or images that are .bmp or .jpg files, you can copy/paste from old folder location to new folder location like this:
C:\ProgramData\IMSIDesign\TURBOFloorPlan3D Home & Landscape PRO 16\Textures
Which is also a reminder....you can copy one of those files, modify in Photoshop or other similar program, save new file in same folder, open TFP and use it like any other file. Excellent to change the color of wood for example, or adjust texture contrast, or add a new "paint" color.
It is a fun place to look thru to see what is available/search/view easier than via TFP search.
But remember if you use "magenta" as the transparency method, save as .bmp, not .jpg or edges will not be clean.
Also reminds me.....one of best free tools for PC's is "search everything" (Google, free on www)
