Title: Baseboard extends to infinity.......

On one interior wall, after editing (but not the baseboard), the baseboard now extends outside of the house and off into infinity. Deleting the baseboard did not fix the problem.  This looks like a bug.  Any suggestions?

When this happens the cause is invariably a bad wall join. It is essential to fix it as it will certainly cause problems later.

First try this: Save the project, (good to save a copy too just in case), the go to File / Repair Project. If you do this when you have a view that shows the baseboard, you may see it disappear. It will delete corruptions it detects so a wall, floor etc may disappear.

If that does not work you will have to find the problm yourself by zooming in on the wall joins (if you follow the bseboard back you should find the offending join easily). Select all the walls involved in that join and you will probably find the intersection has tiny triangular fragments in it, one of which may stick out slightly, or two wals have been joined and one is slightly out of line with the other.

A normal 3 wall intersection should have just one triangle in the join. Basically what you need to do is remake the join cleanly. Delete the walls, then drag the ends of remaining walls to form a new intersection. It is usually best to drag them too long so they overlap and delete the bits that stick out, so that the program finishes off the join.
